Our PE teacher was a male so we would wear waspie belts over our blouse and knickers

I loved my beige mac, a la Patty Boyd, white boots and op-art bag.

Loads of black eyed make-up and false eyelashes.

Took an extra O level in the 4th year - Art History, so that got me out of it ;-) ;-)

Hells Bells I HATED sports. If I could get out of it, I would.

Our hockey games consisted solely of bashing each others shins.

I think our Games Mistress was thinking of sending me to medical science, cos I always had a note!!!

When I was at Secondary Modern (yes!) it was fashionable to take your stuff to school in a canvas haversack, like workmen used :-D :-D :-D

We used to customise them with paint, badges and slogans :-D :-D ;-)
