iTunes is available for and works with Windows.
It can and will make an inventory of all music/video that you have installed and the DRM status of each ( if any ).
In the USA this has on occasion resulted in feisty bills for those with non auth tunes - even for personal use.

Be careful about whom you share your track list with.
It is now 100% legal to rip your owned CDs to , say, a USB player and play them in the car or on a mobile.If you sell the CD on, say, eBay then you are supposed to delete the rips.

One of these days Apple is going to have yr car player checked during service and add DRM rights payments to the service charge. Don't laugh Ford has already identified "in car services" as a significant future profit source.

I stand to be corrected but I think that you can use iTunes with Microsoft software.

I thought my husband used iTunes on his non - Apple laptop.

In my spam folder I found today, 2 final demand notices for unpaid invoices.

What for?

iTunes

I don't even own an iPad etc.

Oh please let them send the bailiffs round ...... Let them find any Apple products in this house.......
