Not Saving. Searches unreliable.

I have been having problems lately.
1: Searches in my tree have been producing long delays, resulting in a "not found" answer, even though that person is definitely in the tree.

2: Modified data entered then "Saved" produces a long delay, the "saving" message disappears, but the data has not been saved.

Researching:
Robb, Purves, Rutherford, Bald - Scotland, Fife and Berwickshire.

Thats been going on for ages now, your query 1. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. Like alot of things.

I think we are seeing a server error here. Had loads of problems last year with the Servers at National Records of Scotland groaning from too much traffic.

We used to get an error message when data wasn't saved. It's annoying when GR just dumps your info and doesn't tell you.

If I had a rant about what appear to be fatal flaws in the GR tree I would probably get barred from the site - hit & miss sums it up ;-)

Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"
