Anyone here had any luck buying them?
We tried to buy on line got right to the end then the pages all went pear shaped just could not get it sorted.
Been trying for 3 days to get through on the phone to sort it out, just engaged or we are very busy and not taking calls!
Typical government **** up!

Reports from a successful applicant said they did it late at night. Perhaps you should try that when the other 65 plussers have gone to bed??

OH did it on the first morning. It took a long time because the website was very busy, but he left it saying it wasn't available, went to do something else and when he came back it was OK.

It was a bit like permanently engaged phone lines - you keep re-dialling and eventually you are the lucky one that gets a reply.

Double the amount of money was taken from my mother's account, but the mistake has now been rectified and all seems to be ok :-).
