I keep getting error messages on Genes but Findmypast is working o.k. for me.

There is only one GRu site - the various country domain suffixes all point at the same physical server. The country domain is used for site usage analysis and advertising though the ip address of the client will give the same information anyway.

Glad you mentioned that long threads couldn't be opened. At least it means it's not a problem from my end!

There's a thread from an hour or so ago saying that census records couldn't be opened. As research is the sites bread and butter, that's a biggy.

Out of interest, has anyone checked how FMP is performing?

I can't access "My Threads" or "Search Trees".

I had the same problem on both the UK and the za site .................... so za didn't help me, as it usually does :-(

I come in via the za site.. this GR one still has its Christmas Decorations hanging there.... Tells me to click on the GR logo and then I am in as me.. so just a minor hurdle..
