Drummo, no you won't get any more than by using freebmd, the only instance where I am guessing you might is on parish records, but you might find the same details elsewhere so it is always worth trying familysearch, or asking if anyone has access to records, some parish records for marriages etc are online, eg LancsOPC. and for London baptisms and marriages you need LMA records, just ask for a look up on the FA board and someone will look for you.

Only buy credits as a last resort!

I know you get quite a lot of information buying census transcripts with your credits but what do you get buying BMD's .Do you get anymore than using freeBMD
