I thought he wanted to repair my computer, but he actually wanted to know if I was interested in selling my house or in moving

Last Thursday I spoke with a very nice Indian lady on the phone.

She was very apologetic, but said that my internet connection would be suspended
on Saturday because all the virus reports from my machine were causing problems at HQ.

I was flabbergasted, and as I don't want to be a nuisance to anyone, I told her to go ahead and disconnect the service.

Amazingly, she backtracked and said that I didn't quite understand, and that she could help me.

Being the gentleman I am, I insisted that she sever the connection as I really did not want to cause a problem.

She hung up and my internet connection seems to be quite stable at the moment :-D :-D

Now there's a coincidence, I got the same message, except I just deleted it without reading it

I had a phone call yesterday about my health.

Me, slightly flummoxed and trying not to laugh - Nothing.

Before anyone says anything, I know that lots of people suffer from very painful joints, from arthritis etc., including my OH, and I am very lucky not to have any problems with mine. It was the way she put the question that made me laugh.

I had one last week who wanted my passport number. Fortunately, I could put my hand on it straight away. I'm glad he didn't ask for money because I'd already given it all to that nice man in Nigeria.
