My great aunt, who was married twice, between 1903 an 1914 had ten children, 3 with the first, and 7,with the second.

cant find a "sensible"death for the first,(21) either he did a runner, or she buried him in the basement!!

Hi Budgie. My gt. grandmother (the one in my avatar) also had 11 children, one every two years without fail. Having gone through 3 pregnancies I can't imagine going through 11 of 'em! She also sounded like a wonderful lady, kept records of the birth dates of all of her children. Sure saved me a lot on birth certificates.

I have to agree with you on that Margee.

My sympathies lie a lot with a 3x Great Grandmother who had 11 children.
Wish I could have met her, sounds like a great lady, she lived to be 90.(Died 130 yrs ago)
The women must have been really taken advantage of in such harsh times.

Oh, I think that there are many men who consider the other more important than the brain.

Did you know....

The first testicular guard, the "cup," was used in Hockey in 1874
and the first helmet was used in 1974.

That means it only took 100 years for men to realize that
their brain is also important.
