Date of marriage 1940

Hi, can anyone tell me the exact date of a marriage in 1940. The names are Leslie Woodburn & Dorothy M Allen, they were married in Peterborough. I have found them on FBMD & it gives me Sept qtr.

All these sort of sites only give transcriptions of the index to the records. To get the full details you have to apply to the GRO for a certificate.
