	Hi, can anyone tell me the exact date of a marriage in 1940. The names are Leslie Woodburn & Dorothy M Allen, they were married in Peterborough. I have found them on FBMD & it gives me Sept qtr. Thanks Hilary

	I think you would have to get a certificate to get all the exact details ;-)

	All these sort of sites only give transcriptions of the index to the records. To get the full details you have to apply to the GRO for a certificate.
