Researching:
I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. I am also researching the Clusker family from Co. Meath in Ireland who moved to West Lothian and from there to Fife............"Vita non est vivere sed valere vita est"

Right name but spelling variants, found relatives all
over the world but no info on his parents.
Thought maybe his father was a soldier in India and mother
Indian....who knows :-)

It is frustrating when you hit brick walls, I got back to around 1760 on my mothers side of the family, thanks to quite a lot of help from GlasgowLass, who did some research on the family at the Mitchell Library, alas I am finding it nigh on impossible to go back further as Register House in Edinburgh confirmed a lot of the relevant parish records between 1700 to 1759 that I need, have been lost or destroyed :-(

I've been trying for decades to find info on him,
and it's so frustrating, he must have been born
somewhere, no parents name on death cert either :-S
