The informant is probably a relative. If she lived in residential care, some of the staff may still be employed there and may have some stories.

Welcome to the boards Lucy

It would be best to seperate the 2 requests onto 2 threads - both of them on Find Ancestors.

Try using the Search all members trees for Nellie's name - if any one lists her they may know about her. Send that person a message.
If you want help trying to trace descendents, then we do need dates and geographical areas.

Looking for any info on John Emmerich 1782-1845 i have not been able to trace back further than him, apart from his wife Mary Green. Also would love to know if he had any brothers or sister?

Looking for any information on this lady and her parents. I know she is not here any more but some one out there must know some info about her life.
Would really like to know about her mother, her name was Edith Kathleen born in Ireland.
