Hi
I have just checked a few things:
Sophia b.1873 married Michal Freedman in 1894 and her 8 children were born in the next 10 years.
Mary Jeanie Rosenberg b.1874 married ?? Morris in 1898 and two children 1899 and 1902.
Maria Rosenberg b.1875 married Joseph Jacobs and someone I know has traced this family and they lived in Manchester.
Sarah Rosenberg b.1881 married Hyman Hoffman in 1910 and 4 children born between 1911 and 1915. So again don't think it is them.
Julia Golda Rosenberg is my relative and didn't live in USA.
Abraham .1886 (Glasgow) married in 1914 and I know his history.
Joseph b.1892 married Sarah Stringer in 1911 and had one child David b.1928 in Manchester

"Is there a way to filter place born and/or parent's birth place using US Census or another way to find them?"

On Ancestry, you can specify born England, Russia or what ever.
Federal census were taken every decade ending in a 0. One of them, possibly the 1890, was more or less destroyed.

Asuming they were in the US on a census year, you'd then have to look at each entry for the additional details.

These can vary from census to census
Some ask for the month and year of birth, most the nationality of the parents as well as which country they were born in themselves.

Hi
I have relatives who emigrated to the USA, some members to New York and others LA but I don't know which ones. Their name was Rosenberg but they may have truncated it to Rose or Rosen. I'm thinking they were there from 1890 but certainly from 1900.

Father's name was Jacob & wife Mary and were born in Poland/Russia 1850. Most of the family was born in Manchester but one in Leeds and one Glasgow in 1870-1885. The family was in New York in 1880 but moved back to the UK and the parent and some children stayed in the UK. They were at 165 Longmillgate, Manchester 1891 and at 2 Back Verdon St, Manchester 1901.

Is there a way to filter place born and/or parent's birth place using US Census or another way to find them?
Thanks
David
