Bowed out on Valentine's Day - the romantic Frenchman to the end - his wife of 67/68 years died last year. <3

Dear Shirley and Pat

Hello

Mr Jordan also appeared in "Three coins in a fountain" with actress Jean Peters.

He worked with Miss Peters again on a little known film, "Anne of the Indies" set in the era of pirates and the shipping industry.

He was awarded the French legion of honour medal in 2010.

He was very much under-rated as an actor but he was given two stars on Hollywoods walk of fame.


Rest in peace, Mr Jordan and thank you.

I just googled his name and it comes up as death hoax, saying he is still alive

Well hope it was a hoax . Not that I like hoaxes but means he is still here

Lots of the papers though and the BBC have made the announcement of his death

Just seen that hoax reference online and now in red under the article it says that the hoax article has been proved incorrect. Louis Jourdan died on Saturday. He was 93 so he did have a long life.
