I am researching the Wotherspoon family from the Old/New Monkland areas of Scotland, some moved to the Leslie and Kelty areas of Fife and I'm having problems linking the Wotherspoon's from Leslie and the Wotherspoon's from Kelty. OneFoot the engineer will be coming with another charger next week and to do a service hope i have calmed down by then for his sake :-0 ;-) it was only a delivery man who came today :-D

Yes OneFoot but i had already sorted the other one out :-0 the engineer said the green light flashed when charging :-) he was looking for the flashing light but when fully charged it is just green :-0 wonder what planet he was on :-0 when he said the charger was not working :-S

Barbs <3 it is strange how, when for long periods, some are away in another world, yet near the end they briefly come back into the real world.

My mother and I witnessed exactly the same scenario with her sister who had been institutionalised after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage, for several years she was living back in her infant days, then the day she died she was back amongst us chatting away <3

Hello Footy, I was interested to read your post about visiting your mum.

My mum suffered from dementia and got to the stage where she never made any conversation with me at all and couldn't remember who I was. She was living in a little bungalow about 200 yards along the road from me. I called in every morning on my way to work and again on my way home. One evening I called in with shopping for her and she said, hello Barb gonna stay for a cup of tea. No mum, I can't stop as I have to get home and cook dinner.
The next morning I called in and found her dead in bed. Also in one of her best nighties .
I think its lovely that near the end they find some sort of connection, if thats the right word , with a loved one.
Why didn't I stay for that cuppa ;-) ;-) ;-) that was back in 1983 !
