I ditched Norton because it slowed everything up but now gone back to it as it has improved a lot. Very happy with it now.
I also found McAfee quite glitchy and Zone Alarm a total pain it the rear!

Thanks Mayfield. We used to use Norton until we had a problem with it that a repair man had to sort out. Been using free trials of AVG and at present Bullguard. Have to make our minds up soon as the free trial for Bullguard expires soon.

Used to use Bullguard it was OK but only worked while your subscription is current.
stopped working if you did not renew unlike Norton etc, that keep going, just no updates.

Thanks Rollo. Will have a look at BitDefender and AVAST.

It is so-so and easily circumvented by teens.
For the same money BitDefender is a lot better.
For free AVAST has the best deal.
Norton is no longer bloatware and is easiest to setup.

The best place to protect yr system is at the router rather than the PC.

With Windows 10 M$ are at last taking net security seriously. One consequence will be the end of Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have Bullguard Internet security?
If so, do you recommended it? Do they have good customer service if there are any problems?
Also do you need a separate malmare programme with it?
