As I have posted before, there are some very interesting Wurzels numbers on YouTube.

We do tend to forget that these people are primarily musicians who perform mostly what will sell but are very able to perform everything else.

I'm not saying they didn't have talent, Brenda.

I'm saying that their music didn't appeal to me, in the early days,
but yes a lot of great stuff came from them........

Bob,

George Harrison wrote some beautiful tunes...SOMETHING was really good.and lots more...HERE COMES THE SUN is another ,both he and Paul were the musicians in my view .
John also wrote Imagine...Ringo was the lucky one....in the right place at the right time .
That's my view,having played on the same bill.

Similarly

when the Beatles were on the royal variety performance I was impressed when they played "Till there was you!"

didn't appreciate that they could play real music!!
