Never miss our football team when they play. Other than that we use catch up

Quite a few programmes I like. Absolutely nothing I'm addicted to.
I can't record, neither can I watch things when I want - you know, when you can go back on your TV.
I can't see the point - everything's repeated ad nauseam now we have so many channels.

I have never been addicted to anything enough to give up my plans to go anywhere.
Years ago a pub I worked in used to put on "prisoner cell block H" for the customers now considering we had "officially" closed this used to p me off.

Another time I tried to find a pub where 30+ canal boats could have a meal, I asked them to turn the TV down, so we could at least talk, as they had some soap on and got told Sorry no ...we went elsewhere. The pub company went ballistic when they found out.

My OH went so out of his way once to find somewhere to take me for my birthday that was NOT showing football. bless

Now I will be fair as a publican we used to show football. I refused to put soaps on.

Now I love Downton Abbey but I have missed episode because of things happening. I missed the xmas one because I had MIL here and she was more important than a TV programme

So are you addicted to anything or can you leave it :-0
