Immigration Ship to USA from Belarus? via Scotland

Just wondering if anyone knows where I would find passenger info for ships bringing immigrants from Belarus (white Russia) which were bound for America (i have been led to believe) but dropped some passengers off in Scotland before heading to the USA. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the ship or even the year although this would have been around 1900. I am trying to find info on passengers Agastas Kufetute, his wife Magde (nee Sinkute) their daughter Ursula (My great grandmother)
Jenas Reddek, his wife Magde (nee Kortainhi) their son Anthony (My great grandfather). I believe there were more family on both sides on-board, but don't know their names as some of them stayed on the ship to the USA
Any help however small would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou in advance :-)

Hi Liz

You might get lucky and find something on the Ellis Island website...

http://libertyellisfoundation.org/passenger

Good luck!

Just a note ......

if you haven't used it before .............

You have to register with Ellis Island, but it is free

Once you are in, click on Passengers, Ships and Manifests

If you have used it before, but not for more than a year, you will find it has changed :-(

I don't find it as easy as it used to be, and I found that I had to re-register under another user name ............ it wouldn't accept my "old" name, nor would it let me use that name again :-S

be aware that the names may not appear as you spell them!! Ellis Island officials are noted for changing names :-)

I must ask ............... are you not sure where your gt grandparents lived or got married????

It would help us if we knew whether to look on US censuses, or for them in Scotland

There is a private tree on Ay for this guy.
Ask nicely with some relevant data and he will probably open up to you.

Name: Agastsas Kufetute

A tree on Ancestry has Elizabeth or Ursula Kufetute married to Anthony Reddeck with a daughter Margaret Reddeck born 1904

Thanks LadyScozz and SylvanianCanada for your suggestions, I will have a look to see if I can find any more information on the suggested site, although my branch of the family decanted the ship in Scotland. Unfortunately I don't know any other family names, but hopefully if there are any passengers with the surnames above (I may get lucky)
I know my great grandparents (Ursula and Anthony) settled and resided with their families and then married in Bothwell. So we know their names when they married but unsure (particularly in Anthony's case) if this would be the names on the shipping log. We got their parents names from the wedding certificate.

RolloTheRed James is my cousin but thankyou for the suggestion.

Margee this will be my tree but thankyou for the suggestion

Once again......thanx all for the suggestions - much appreciated :-)

Unfortunately I can't find any info on the Ellis Island website for any Kufetute or Reddek, arriving in the USA, so unfortunately I am now back to square one with this search.

Many thanx

and I also do not think there will be any passenger lists for ships from Europe that dropped off passengers in Scotland.

Passenger lists were not kept between Europe and the UK

Did you look for possible changes to their names???

The US Immigration officials at Ellis Island were notorious for changing names ............. if they didn't know how to spell it or didn't understand the language, then they sometimes seemed to write down what they wanted.

Have you tried looking at US censuses ............. I think you can see some for free on familysearch
