Dear Uzzi

Hello

I suppose I will have white bread.

Oh what the heck, I'll own up and say fried bread!

Plus tomatoes, sausage, and egg.

Then I will have indigestion!

Take gentle care
With best wishes
Elizabeth,
xx

White bread, can be toasted or not, bacon not overcooked, definitely not crispy with tomato sauce. Also like bacon in a soft roll.

edit to say bread must be buttered, hate it dry.

Aw, Prickly Holly, you know what I meant. The bread has to be toasted!

And, Island, if you don't know what WTF means perhaps you shouldn't use it. It certainly doesn't mean "What the heck"

Toasted brown bread, well-buttered and filled with with cut up back bacon. No sauce - Yum.

Runny poached egg - aagghh >>> off to the loo :-0

LadyScozz Report 27 Feb 2015 21:23

It must be back bacon, cos I detest bacon fat, hate streaky bacon.

Lightly toasted bread, NO butter........ favourite is pumpkin seed bread....... bacon with a runny poached egg...... and NO sauce.

The bread or roll or barmcake MUST be warm, bacon must be lean(no fat) and WITHOUT sauce of any kind.

Any bread, toasted or otherwise.
Lots of butter but never.... with sauce. Yeuch!

(I made pancakes with smoked bacon and maple syrup for lunch on Tuesday)

I guess we have different tastes this side of the Atlantic.

I can't imagine a bacon sandwich made with bread, it has to be toast, preferably white and absolutely NO sauce.

Now a different kettle of fish is the bacon & tomato sandwiches in the summertime made with a tomato fresh from the garden and slathered with mayo, again on toast not bread.
