Montreal Botanic Garden is a great place to visit. It also has a decent place to eat.

There's a metro stop nearby

I once took a bus tour of Montreal ................. it took about 2 hours, was fascinating, and gave a good overall idea of places to go later.

You must visit old Montreal, along the waterfront, the old port. Many good restaurants in very old buildings. Then a nice walk to Notre Dame Cathedral.

If you love cemeteries as I do, the 2 cemeteries on Mount Royal affording a wonderful view of the whole city. Anna Leonowens (of King and I fame) is buried there.

Hi
We are going on holiday to Vancouver and Montreal later this year and are looking for ideas on where to visit in and around Montreal.
Really looking forward to going back to Canada, we went 4 years ago to Toronto and Quebec, loved every minute
