I like rediscovering books I read years ago in second hand book shops. I've been rereading a lot of Sci Fi I first read as a teenager when I had to get them from the library because I was broke..

Sounds interesting Margee :-) Nice when you get a good book, I have just finished one I picked up in the charity shop, " The Postmistress" by Sarah Blake. Worth a look,

Curious that you should mention that Leonard Cohen song, Rose. I just finished a good book, a mystery with the title "How the Light gets In" based on his song. The book is by Louise Penny, one of the Chief Inspector Gamache of the Surete Quebec stories. I had never read any of her books before but I will certainly look for others.

something worth reading :-)

Have you any favourite blogs, those which you just stumbled upon by accident?

Just come across this one, via a Leonard Cohen song with the lines " There's a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in"

From music to places and photography, to art and literature, well worth a look :-)
