My brother was born that year....blimey so you had the old fashioned wash out then..how horrendous :-( :-(

1964 actually , honestly that was what it was like. Stay in bed for 12 days and only seeing baby at feeding times. Old fuddy nurses too

I had my son in a small cottage hospital with just 4 maternity beds and enemas....... with a jug rofl and I was definitely not rofl :-0 :-0
