I am trying to find family of my great uncle Frank Rhodes,born in Brighton 1916 and died in 1969.
Parents were Harry and Lily Rhodes,( nee Dennis)the family lived in New England Street Brighton,his siblings were Dorothy,George and Harriett and possibly Rosie,
Other siblings were Harry,Henry,Lily and Ford(maybe Fred) all sadly died in childhood.

Would love to have any info!

You posted a request (in the wrong forum, this one is for chit-chat, not ancestor research)

and one of the kind members here, other paying subscribers who help other people find the family history info they are looking for, responded to your request

the way to find relations is, of course, to look for them

that's what AnnCardiff was helping you do

if you go to the Find Ancestors board (look on the left) and read some of the posts at the top of the list, and browse some of the other help request threads, it may get you a better feeling for this place

Christine - you have been a member for a number of years but obviously have no idea how this site works. If you are expecting a relative to suddenly post on here you'll have a long wait I'm afraid - you have to look for them, or have a fellow member help you find them, which is what I was endeavouring to do - I was trying to help you, in spite of the fact that you have posted on the wrong board - you should either have posted on Find Living Relatives or on Find Ancestors.

and if you say when you post what info you have found (marriages of any of the siblings?), and what you are still looking for, it helps other members know what could be done to help

for instance, if we know which of Frank's siblings was your own grandparent(?), we know not to try to chase up that one's descendants :-)
