I thought you had deleted this thread Budgie. I looked for it the other day and couldn't find it.

I gave up on the Derby peregrines because the view was intermittent. I now have it on camera 4 and it works fine. I had to turn if off earlier because the bell ringing was driving me mad. :-)

The Derby Cathedral Peregrine has this afternoon just after 2 o`clock laid her first egg . :-D :-D :-D

Nothing happening at the Derby Cathedral nest box,
although yesterday I did see mum scraping a dent in the centre which she then sat in.
I got a little excited I thought I was about to see her lay her first egg...No such luck!

She only sat their for a minute or so and then up she got and off she flew, Like a bolt shot from a crossbow. Wow! what speed.

Well, if that was a test run at the nest, reckon she must be about ready to lay any day now.

Just caught Mom rearranging her nest and turning the eggs.

I also noticed on full screen close to the nest a couple of bones and what looks like 2 racing pigeons leg bands.

Looks like Some racing pigeon owner is missing a bird or two. :-(

On the Nottingham menu tabs click on "Video archive" and activate 29 March 2013.

Snowed in (amazing). :-0
