Hi everyone. I have three certificates ordered through GRO which are the wrong ones for my family tree. If they are of any help to anyone they are welcome to have them. 1. Birth Certificate:George Durrant 21st January 1851(Lound), father Robert Durrant and mother Mary(maiden name Reeve). 2. Marriage certificate: 16th October 1840 John Goldsmith and Elizabeth Tennant at Necton in Norfolk.Fathers: Stephen Goldsmith and John Tennant and 3. Death certificate: Fanny King 12th October 1915 Halesworth. Age 74. Widow of Alfred King (Farmer).
Please let me know if anyone is interested.
Regards,
Janet Jillings

Highly unlikely that you will get any takers.

However, I know many of us keep our wronguns, just in case.

I also add postems on FreeBMD with some of the info for others.

ie on Births will add DOB and Parents names

Marriages DOM and parents names

Death DOD and informant

Postems on FreeBMD are often the best way of sharing your info.

Oh you could donate them to your local Family History Society or if not in the right area the relevant one.

Taking copies of course.

Thank you for your reply. That's a good idea about donating them. I do have a good research library nearby so I will ask them if they want them. Or failing that there is a group that do family research. They would probably be the best bet. And I will take copies, of course, cos they aren't cheap!!
