I'm not suggesting this as a cure, but I remember when we first had computers in the office, they had plug-in keyboards (pre-mouse days) and someone spilt sugary coffee over it.

She was in a right state, but the office computer whizz unplugged it and washed it under the cold tap!! After being left over night to dry out, it worked perfectly - much to our surprise :-) :-) :-)

The next day the boss gave us all plastic holders for our coffee mugs!!

MORNING SO FAR ONLY THE "W" KEY IS STICKING
THE REST IS DUE TO BRAIN STICK,
IT'S STUCK ON WHAT I WAS THINKING TWO WEEKS
AGO,NOW WHERES THE 'AIR SPRAY.

Maggie it's what my OH uses and he's been in IT for many years. It's a can of air under pressure and it has a fine nozzle to get into the smallest areas and blast out dust or in Dizzi's case food :-D.

We have lots of dust here so he does it regularly. Only takes a few minutes. :-)

I may have to invest in some :-D :-D

How did you clean it?

I know of someone who used green goo, bought especially for the job - but she probably didn't have dried food on hers.

LAPTOP HAD A RIGHT OLD TREAT TODAY,
HAD A GOOD OLD KEYBOARD CLEAN,
ALL THE CRUMBS,RICE AN CAKE IN FACT
THE KEYBOARD HAD MORE TO EAT THAN ME,
HOPE IT WAKES UP NOW AND CATCHES UP WITH
ME WHEN I PRESS THE KEYS AN I'M SLOW.
