TLC is a well known trade supplier so should be good quality.
I have gone over to led bulbs, instant light and no mercury in them, still a bit expensive but so much better and eco friendly too. Reduced the consumption of my kitchen light from 120w to 15w.

Yes I have bought bulbs too from tlc direct good service and good prices

I ordered some wrong ones as wasn't too sure of the right decription .

No problem take them back to a local branch That I didn't know existed ! ). With the download invoice ,and they changed them for the right ones

I hate the eco bulbs
it takes 20 minutes for them to light up bright enough to see

its like finding your seat in the cinema by torch light :-( :-(

Some time ago there was a thread about the problems with "new-style" light bulbs and how people preferred the old ones.

I have a light fitting that takes large candle bulbs and I bought up all the remaining stock at my local shop. I was down to the last one, so I googled "light bulbs" and found this site (link below).

I think it is a wholesale suppliers, but they are quite happy to sell single items. I was asked to state my occupation, where the options included architect, plumber, builders' merchant etc!! Fortunately it also listed "other" :-) :-)

The bulbs I wanted cost £2.00 plus from most places, but on this site are only 78p each, and 66p each for 10 or more. So for £10, including postage, I got 10 old-style, bright bulbs. Delivery was prompt and I am very satisfied.
