I have a couple of celtic design books, from about 15 years ago that D never got round to, I might dig them out and see if they are therapeutic :-) I used to love painting, but life got in the way, I think a lot of people do forget about art, and how much they enjoy it, after leaving school so anything that encourages people back to it can't be bad. |

Yeah I do that often, just squiggle and then colout them in,, but I like the thought of actual symetrical patterns, and the aztec ones iv seen are lovely, |

you can do your own doodles.. just draw lines of squiggles, loops and circles, and then rub out the bits of lines you think don't look right and hey presto you have a lovely abstract image to colour in and if you look carefully there will be some shapes that make sense and you can highlight those by giving them a heavy border.. |
