.....to check up on what is going on.

Well........mummy sheep is in a pen with her two lambs, and I noticed a lamb stuck under the bar of the pen struggling to get up. I watched with baited breath, hoping it would find it's way back in.......but after a while it managed to wriggle it's way out.

It struggled to get to it's feet and I thought the poor little thing was injured. It took a while for it to get to it's feet and it was then that I noticed the afterbirth ....so it had only just been born. :-0

So I am thinking.......oh my god, how is it going to get back in the pen and will it get trampled on before anyone notices.

Sniff, sob, hicupp!

Sooooo, I rang the contact number. A lady answered the phone and I explained what had happened.

Oh she said...........I am up Sainsbury's but I will ring Nick at the farm and get him to sort it out.

2 minutes later.......Nick appears on the web cam, pops baby in the pen and all is well.

Phew! Panic over.
