R I P Cynthia.....
She ran a restaurant in Ruthin...not very far from me where 2 of my friends live and was a very popular and compassionate lady.

This was in the late 70s early 80s and Julian has performed around here.
I always knew that John was moody.

So sorry to hear this news..do hope she didn't suffer too much!

Likewise I was a big fan we lived not far from London Airport has it was then called and my friend and I walked over there early one morning to see them I had to stand to this car roof to see I saw get into their coach, no idea that John was married though

Cynthia always had dignity. Was a big Beatles fan and liked a lot of John Lennon's songs BUT I was also very aware that he was a difficult and moody man. Many put him on a pedestal but his treatment of Cynthia and Julian showed how cruel and selfish he could be.

RIP Cynthia.

It's sad for Julian, he will miss her. There were nice comments from Ringo and his wife, and from Paul, also from Yoko.

John Lennon's former wife Cynthia has died in her home in Spain aged 75 of Cancer her son Julian was at her bedside. She met John in 1957 when they were both at art collage but was kept very much in the back ground at the height of their fame
