I think the explanation that all these ladies are trying to ignore (just like when we get man flu) is that as we all know men have larger brains and so your heart must work harder to cope with this (and other organs) vast need for blood ;-)

So of course you will bleed more from the lower parts just like draining water from a drain tap on a heating system. :-(

So there, there, you just sit down and have a nice cup of tea till you feel better, you have my sympathy :-D Perhaps a small toddy and some tasty treat brought to you as you recover might be a good idea too! :-D :-D :-D

Then why suggest alcohol that stimulates the heart and therefore the blood flow which will mean more blood loss :-S

You are so right AnnCardiff! When my wife was giving birth it was agony, she squeezed my hand so tight I had to fight back the tears.................. ;-)
