Well, the bl**dy electrical foreman should have known all the factors/scenarios.
I bet if it was normally a woman's job, they'd be expected to know.

You're definitely the genius :-D

The manager knows I have sussed the problem.

It took a bit of thinking outside the box to work it out.

i know I am the genius in the scenario (hem, hem).

I am just speculating on what the scene will be in their office.

There was no fault really. It was a combination of factors and I was the only person who knew of all of them.

Au contraire.
THEY are the idiots!!
They're meant to know all about the system they put in, informing you that turning up the thermostat may trip the system (sounds cr*p to me - why have a system that does that?) may have resolved the problem, so why didn't they?
OR if they KNEW turning up the thermostat would trip it, why didn't they PRETEND to turn it up?
WHY didn't they check the system on the other tank?

Let the electrician know you think you have it sussed, see what he says, and wonder out loud why the previous electricians didn't see the problem. :-D :-D :-D

I have yet another electrician coming because I have no hot water again.

Having had numerous men up my stairs over the last couple of months, I have finally sussed it all out for myself.

I have been getting them to turn up the thermostat because I only have warm water. Well, I have finally worked out that the thermostat was too high after all and was tripping out. The reason I was only getting warm water was because I was taking it from a tank that had tripped out some hours before and was cooling down with no element to maintain the temperature.

I expect they had told her al along but the silly, fat cow had wanted it turned up so that is what they did.

Now, I suppose, they are all in the company office discussing that stupid woman who wanted her water turned up all the time!
