Antique Roadshow Detective is on every evening this week. On BBC2 @ 6.30pm,

a new programme, quite enjoyable, did you watch it?

I've watched a few, but missed the first ones.

This is the programme that looked further into Lorina and her sampler made in the workhouse, that I posted sbout last week. It's a very good offshoot from the Antiques Road show.

I had no idea the programme was connected to your interesting posting about

Lorina's sampler. Shall I delete it here so you can add it your post?

I've watched some and recorded those I've missed.

The stories behind the items show that the social history and circumstances of ownership really mean more than the object's monetary worth.

After watching tonight's programme, I would recommend Googling 'Daily Herald Archive' :-D

It takes you to the National Media Museum.

Peter, no don't worry, leave this thread. I should have made it clearer about the programme.

I am enjoying the Collectaholics programme too, lots of interesting facts and lots of collectors/hoarders hence Jasmine Harman's part in presenting, as she did the Hoarding programmes starting with the one about her Mum.

It's a fine line between collecting and hoarding lol
