My bum and cat used to be on there as I leaned on the wall, holding a clinical waste sack and talking to my neighbour but it has now been updated and my car is on there.

I am on Street view in three different towns. Possibly four, but I can't remember where it was that the van drove past me.

Not at the same time, obviously, but in the same car.

I was also just coming out of our front door as they drove past our house.

My backside is on Google Street View. I was getting shopping out of the car boot and didn't see them coming.

One view of our area displays me in a quick nip outside to the wheely bin.

There I am in my baggy tracksuit bottoms and daughter's cast-off jumper having spent the day hunting high and low in all cupboards and corners of the house for something OH had lost.

My daughter is on Google Earth. She was caught working. She's a civil engineer and was working for Mansfield Council at the time, she was in Warsop I think redoing kerbs so wheelchairs and prams could get up on the pavements and sorting out the lines on the road etc. She had to do the survey then check the work was being done correctly. :-)

I have just been looking at a place on Google Earth and it reminded me of a time I was the caught out by a television camera and how much more embarrassing to be caught out by the Google cameras.

Anybody remember when the Athena B ran aground at Brighton?

I wanted to see it but there was no reason for me to be in Brighton, in fact there was no reason for me to be within twenty odd miles of Brighton that day.

Naturally, that didn't stop me from going and, when the news came on the television that night, everybody knew it hadn't stopped me from going.

There it was, large as life, my sign-written van,in the firm's livery. The only one on the firm.

How much worse if it had been caught on Google Earth and stayed there for years.
