I wrote to somebody sharing common ancestors, asking if they would like the details from recent certificates that I had ordered.

They replied that they would, so I sent off all the details I had obtained through GRO. I had spent ages researching to find the info.

I'm still waiting for the magic word.. :-(

edit - not on GR lol

Even if they thought it a 'business' type transaction (which it isn't), surely a 'thank you' would be appropriate?

email them again, and ask if they had received the information as you are afraid that you might have got the wrong address
