my only regret is that I never told my in-laws what a nasty pair of people they were - mother in law a complete and utter cow and father in law a domineering bully :-D :-D |

Regrets would be worth having if we could change the past. Let them go before they eat into your life and don't let them influence how you feel and act. |

I wish I'd bought my (council) house when I was 45, but then, with only 15 years until retirement it didn't seem feasible, due to the repayments. |

Oh Maggie, that's sad. I was always upset that my parents wouldn't buy their council house. We lived there from new in 1950 and it was in a good location, with lots of space and a huge garden. Even more, it held lots of memories. They just had a horror of 'owing' so much money. |

No I don't have any regrets, I am pretty happy with how my life has been. anything that has happened or not happened is all part of the tapestry of my life. Nothing can be changed anyway. :-D |

you're so right there Ann - I lost three babies but never ever think "what they would have been like" - they're gone and most of the time forgotten - I'm not a hard person, but I got a bit harder when those losses occurred |
