Elaine, Flying Doctor, told her family she didn't want flowers at her funeral as she preferred to see them growing not cut. She said she would rather have donations
to the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (P.D.S.A.) a charity that helps poor people get treatment for their sick pets.

If anyone would like to donate, please make contact with me (as with Dutch's collection which is almost ready to go) and I can send a lump sum to the charity in Elaine's name.

Hi Liz, I think it is a nice idea to make a collection for Elaine's favourite charity, on behalf of some of GR members that knew her,
She was such a lovely lady, always so kind and genuine. I will be happy to send a donation, so will post it to you tomorrow.

Thanks Sallie and for your pm.

I had put a note in Elaine's birthday card (her birthday was 10 days before she died) asking if she wanted to donate to Joyce's collection so her family had seen that and I would have felt bad had I not tried to do something for Elainee too.
