Yes, Great Torrington was also about 10 miles from us. We visited the factory several times.

I used to work in North Devon. Many years ago I had a girlfriend in Great Torrington. She used to work in the glass factory. :-)

Our part of Wiltshire (central, near Salisbury Plain) is much nicer than Swindon! We lived about 10 miles south of Bideford, Graham.

I agree with Dermot. North Devon is much nicer than Wiltshire. :-) Where abouts in North Devon did you live?

Hi, I used to spend a lot of time on these boards up until about 5 years ago. Since we moved, I have graduated to other things. Having taken a look at the boards today, I am amazed at how many of the posters' names I recognise from before!
