	Who amongst us would be prepared to spend 12 hours standing in the cold & rain outside a maternity ward - apart from when our own children were due perhaps? Mind you, there are numerous complaints from patients being kept waiting on trolleys in wind-swept corridors for long periods too. Grumpy old fool - that’s me!

	Yes she did Belle, as her father used to talk a lot about stories from Tehran that his father had spoken of. But she obviously did not have the photo. She also said that she had been on holiday in Tasmania some years ago, and when she came back she visited her parents with photos of a place there called Lyne Bay, to be told that apparently, her father's father (in the photo) 's cousin ... so obviously also my Grandfather's cousin ......was the Governor General there. I have googled, and I do not know how he can possibly fit into the family, so I'm hoping it's not going to be one of those false family stories! But possibly a distant cousin. I will have to do lots of research I think :-)

	:-D :-D :-D :-D@ Fly! Yes Fly! She and her husband have just come back from holiday in Bali and she was thrilled to bits to find the letter waiting. She said the photo brought a tear to her eyes! She said she wished her father was still alive to see it, as he didn't know his father (one of the boys in the photo)'s family. She is going to email me some photos :-)
