so looks like he left her and took up with Phyllis Macdonald nee Partridge and they had your mum and her siblings together them must have parted as Phyllis then later married Herbert under her first married name of McDonald

well her birth is reg as Aldrich mmn Partridge th same as your mum but born in Pancras reg district
