I was RR'd for posting a thread with the comic song "DON'T JUMP OFF THE ROOF, DAD" by Tommy Cooper. :-S

The big twit who reported me caused a right hoo-ha, suggesting that I posted a sadistict thread about suicide!

I mean purlees.......you couldn't make it up. :-D

GR reinstated my thread. ;-)

When I first joined GR I was reported and to this day I have no idea why. The very nice lady who was the OP sent me a personal message saying she was removing the thread to avoid further nasty comments. I was very new to this site and shocked and surprised that someone can be reported and the reporter is able to hide behind his/her anonymity. Perhaps GR needs to look into the referrering/reporting procedures.

On a more positive note, I was welcomed by many others from the RR club.

Yes I've been reported for supposedly advertising. The continuation of the same thread became so funny that it was worth being reported for.

Matthew and Jane Elwood who had my great great grandfather Francis Edward Elwood baptised in 1807 at Horsham Sussex. There is no sign of Matthew or Jane from this date and my great great grandfather was brought up as Francis Edward Elwood MITCHELL
