DIZZI - you've just made the hairs on my bald head stand up with anxiety.

Oh - hang on a second! I just remembered I finished my dreaded exams in the hot summer of 1968. Still reminisce for those days though.

I would tremble at even the mock exams . Would go into the exam room and have a complete blank out . Would read the paper and not even understand the questions I was so freaked out with it all. But as soon as I walked out of the room afterward s a light bulb would go on and I knew the answers
My end of year report would always say her exam results don't reflect her true ability

This was in the early 50's still gives me collywobbles thinking about it .

The youngsters today seem to do so well ,bless em

Dizzi - maths has changed beyond all comprehension!!

When my 13 year old grand daughter was in primary school, my ex (her Poppa) tried to help her with her maths homework - he couldn't understand what was needed - he's got an Masters in maths, and teaches special needs adults!!

When grand daughter's younger brother started primary school, grand daughter was 11. She couldn't understand her younger brother's maths :-(
