Guinevere Report 11 May 2015 06:37

I was listening to Clive Anderson on Radio 4 yesterday. He said that if Gove thought he had problems with teachers he was in for a severe shock if he took on lawyers.

My relief that he wasn't back in education was somewhat restrained when I thought of the havoc he could cause by messing with the law.

And where will IDS find the £12 billion welfare cuts?

Agree, RRose, but I suppose if people commit suicide, it will save the government money. Much easier than catching tax avoiders and non-doms.

My response to pages 1-13 is this:
Do you know what - we'll know the Labour leader when they announce it.
Socialists don't HAVE to be miners, on the dole or living in Council houses.
Tories/right wingers don't have to live in palatial mansions, neither do they have to agree with fox hunting.
Socialists are allowed to have attended Public school, have parents who are 'into' the arts, like fast cars and live in big houses
Tories are allowed to have attended comprehensive schools and like steam trains
UKIP members don't have to be white, wear barbour jackets and drink beer
BNP members sometimes have lovely parents.

Amazingly, if you have a brain, you DON'T have to vote X, Y or Z, because your parents did.

The world may be full of stereotypes, but only a fool will believe it.
The world is (thankfully) full of individuals. Those who try to pigeonhole people are the fascists of this world.

Oh, and be afraid - be very afraid. The new Justice minister - Gove , in 1998 wrote about his wish to bring back hanging, so watch your P's & Q's. Cameron want's to allow the 'snoopers charter', no doubt aided by his good friend Murdoch (donor to the Tories, non-dom, earns millions from the UK, but pays no taxes, rules the media - so it's not biased then?)

never mind who is in no 10, the really worrying news, with Cameron back in, IDS has retained his cabinet position, it will certainly not be good news for the disabled, carers, the ill, the weak or the poor.

G007 Report 10 May 2015 22:13

I think quite a few said Ed M wouldn't be PM on GR, well done to you all, some would say you were talking garbage, but not me. Just like that, Ed M has gone... and his 8ft £30,000 stone has gone too... Trick or Treat ? A bit of both I think, the £30,000 worth of garbage was a cunning trick, and a treat to see it go...

G007

G007 Report 10 May 2015 22:00

...and for my next trick... is a treat... the answer to who will be living at number 10 is (not a trick question), David Cameron. :-D

Perhaps someone who is good with words could compose a short synopsis of the content & purpose of this never ending thread.

Too late now to wish for an alternative PM,

No matter G007 in future you can play to your hearts content, whether it be as G007, Graham ,or even the short lived and wildly inappropriate "Sense" :-D

Rambling Report 10 May 2015 20:26

So what you are telling me G007 is that those two accounts, are not both yours, despite them BOTH being in your name, having your year of birth and having your dad named in the tree.... yep right please DO contact GR first thing tomorrow morning.
:-D

G007

G007 Report 10 May 2015 20:23

RR you have given out two account numbers suppose to be my accounts, but I've only paid for one account.

G007

G007 Report 10 May 2015 20:20

RR I only have the one account... and if you keep saying I have two accounts, I may contact GR.

G007

G007 Report 10 May 2015 20:18

I will just say one more thing about these so called two accounts, when I search for other member trees, and find a match or want to ask someone something, the person name comes up, then when you post something to them sometimes another name comes up, strange but true.
