Americans are very fond of their food - that much I have learned from my relations over yonder. And they have some amazing concoctions too. The saying over there is that bacon makes everything taste better.

For example, bacon flavoured milkshakes are readily available as well as bacon flavoured syrup & vanilla ice-cream. Or, if you prefer, you can fill up with chocolate coated bacon slices.

The one American 'stunt food' that caught my attention is the 'Double Down' consisting of a bacon & cheese sandwich with two pieces of fried chicken instead of bread.

Homer Simpson would feel at home with that tasty invention & so would I.

Agree about the taste of vegemite Rollo. The addition of chocolate to it, could only enhance it :-D

Maggie is right marmite+chocolate sounds terrible but is actually delish. I tried it once then the product disappeared :-(

hint: if in the strange land of Oz do not purchase "vegemite" as a Marmite substitute. It is the most appalling stuff and only the locals can approach it in safety.

I 'found' Marmite chocolate bars at Christmas.
I only bought one, to try it.
It was LOVELY :-D :-D
I can't find them anymore :-(

I also love Marmite thins, Marmite cereal bars (haven't been able to source them for over a year), and Marmite crisps. I can probably get the cereal bars and chocolate on the internet, but only want one bar occasionally, otherwise the weight will just gather :-(
