OH answered doorbell at 1.00p.m. today to find an ambulance man smiling at him - pick up for Mrs...... OH shakes head and says 'no'. Man checks his magic pad and says 'yes 7 May 1.00 p.m.' OH puts him out of his misery and says 'Friday 8th May 1.00p.m.'

They both wander down to the ambulance and tell the driver. Upshot is that the driver and his sidekick decide to stay the night, have breakfast and early lunch and try again tomorrow :-D

When they inform their controller she reckons good idea and she will come and join them
