That a minority of the minority objected to the majority vote. What´s the best way to deal with the objections well have a riot of course. |

Only one person defaced the memorial. I'm pretty sure that the vast majority of protesters would be as disgusted as the rest of us. |

There was a referendum in 2011 about Electoral Reform. The majority (of the 40% who bothered to vote) wanted to retain the current system. |

I do know about the referendum but imo it was the wrong method that was offered and it wasn't very well explained. |

I'd have thought most of them did, that's why they're cross. Their voices won't be heard. |

I think the protesters have lost their protest for defacing the women's memorial. |

If a toddler doesn't get their way, they might have a tantrum. It seems to fit :-D |

I agree with Sue, peaceful protest is acceptable but when they organise these protests, especially the immediate days after the election when things are volatile, they should be aware that they will attract the people who love a riot for rioting's sake. It did their cause no good at all. |

The trouble with peaceful protests is that the barking mad will piggy back on them. I think it's a price worth paying. |

It may have only been one person who defaced the war memorial but it does reflect on the whole protest. |
