In world war 1 a lady nicked named The Chideok egg lady sent eggs to france to feed the soldiers . We went this week to see the letters she recieved to Thank her for her kindness. They are amazing! |

I was sitting reading the letters and they said most of the eggs arrived whole and those that were cracked were used to make cake !!! Cake in the middle of war must have been like comfort food |
