It does sound as if you are progressing really well. If you have access to a hydrotherapy pool or even hot-tub once your wound has healed, it can be really beneficial to exercise in one. |

Well done and keep up the good work. I had my left knee done 7 years ago and the right one 6 months later. Unfortunately for me I got an infection in the first knee which meant I had quite a lot of trouble with it (hospital stay, another operation and a wound that had to be left open and packed for 2 months) so that one isn't as good as it could have been but the other one is great. |

You are one of the lucky ones. I had mine done last October and I still get swelling and some pain though nowhere near as bad as it was. I still cannot bend it properly and cannot walk very far as it causes me to get pains in my hips. Still it could be worse ;-) :-D :-D :-D |

I do or have done all of those things. Consultant has said that it may well take a year to improve . Still grinning and bearing it and thinking there are a lot of people with more serious complaints than me ;-) :-D :-D :-D |

I must have been one of the fortunate people to have knee replacement surgery. |

GP most people have no problems but even going for physio and doing the exercises at home are not improving it very much. I am one of the unfortunate few that have problems according to my consultant :-|. Never mind worse things happen at sea as the saying goes ;-) :-D :-D. |

That's amazing. I'm unable to bend my knee enough to turn the pedals on a bike properly.. and a five mile walk. |
