Sharron, when i first read this i thought it said "Goldfish"...lol

My mind boggled at the thought, thank goodness it was a Goldfinch, and how lovely that it was so close to you :-)

As I sat in bed , drinking a cup of tea, this morning, a goldfinch stuck his bum in the window.

He was pecking about at something on the sill and his tail came inside. Don't think I have ever been that close to a goldfinch before.
