Ethan is a big boy - his weight made my eyes water.
Hopefully we'll have an extended family get together before Summer's out, so I can meet him.

I saw my little Amber today, she's got amazing blue eyes, and at 4 months, a smile and a giggle that melts your heart :-D

Shame her poor mum and dad were up at 3am!!! :-0

Aaah - the glory of grandchildren - all the fun, none of the responsibility :-D

Having said that I've got the boys tomorrow (5 and 7 - their 13 year old sister sometimes comes with them, but usually makes other plans, with her friends when mum is working ). The boys come in, sit at the table and draw - then take turns playing on my computer.
Oh - what a hard life I lead. All they ask is 'breakfast' (sausages and bacon) for lunch!!

How lovely , lots of cuddles coming up

A big boy too so the knitting needles need to be on the go for the bigger sizes.

I used to love knitting matinee coats for new babies ,and pram outfits too with leggings

Not many knit those things these days unless like me they are bit long in the tooth and have hung on to old knitting patterns

Don't think we will have the pleasure from now with a new baby cos grandsons youngest is 6 .AND our grandaughter isnt married or in a relationship . she is a career girl n her early 30,s and doesnt want children

I still have the knitting needles and some of the old patterns ,some of which I knitted for our daughter who was born in 1958!!!! :-(

My brother is ecstatic - he 'let slip' on FB, whilst wishing our niece (our sister's daughter) a happy birthday (she's 39 today), so we all ignored it until his son put up an announcement :-D

He's just over 3 months younger than Amber. Unfortunately, nephew lives in Bristol, daughter lives in Worthing.

I'm great Auntie to 3 now. What is so wonderful, is, the couple are both in their early 40's, married 18 months ago, and didn't expect conceiving a baby to be so easy!
My nephew has MS, and never thought he'd find the lady of his dreams :-D
He's the one you can just see on the right in my profile picture. :-D
